There is a new Instagram feature that allows you to send "notes" to your most devoted fans

An Instagram update has been met with a range of emotions from users. Instagram's newest feature, "Notes," may be thought of as Stories in text form and can be accessed by swiping right when you're in direct messages.

The new Instagram Messages feature lets users write brief notes limited to 60 characters. Tweet, do you see this? This current trend will eventually result in a world without distinctively different popular apps.

Like Instagram Stories, Instagram Notes only remain viewable to your followers for a day. Direct messages are another way for your followers to respond.

Are we talking about another scam or a legitimately helpful addition?

Instagram is primarily a visual platform. Thus this feature has little practical purpose beyond catering to those who prefer not to share mundane aspects of their lives through the app.

You can't note-bomb just yet, though. This implies that you can only post one photo or video to Instagram every 24 hours. It will be removed if a new note is posted within the allotted period.

When creating a Note on Instagram, you can share it with a select group of people, all of your followers, or just those who follow you back.

For a while, Instagram has been giving off hints that it wants to shift its focus from photos and short videos to longer-form content. Perhaps this is a reaction to the rising popularity of TikTok and related apps when Meta's social media apps are declining in usage.
